This quest is obtainable when you have started the mission " Forge a link ". You then get a clue you can look up in your inventory. This index will tell you this:

At the highest point of Asgard,
A seed sleeps within the cold of Ymir.
Warm it up, take it to the water,
And from the old bone will spring new life.
Then go to the location below and use your crow to see a level below.

Take a leap of faith to reach this area and now you see the famous seed stuck in the rock. Use your torch and throw it down to free it.
Carry it and throw it into the water hole below. Take another leap of faith to interact once more with the seed and thus complete this mission.
