When you play the game, you will sometimes find that your progress on weapons and challenges does not progress. This problem does not currently have a long-term solution., but the developers are aware of the concern since it is listed in the Cold War Known Bugs.
As for the reason for this bug, the devs clarified that it was a visual issue and therefore your progress was not lost. If there is no long-term solution, it is nevertheless possible to solve it by quitting the game and relaunching it. After reconnecting to the game, double check that your progress is now displayed correctly.
If the problem persists, you can write directly to Activision Support to submit a ticket explaining your problem and see if they can help you fix it. Until we have a long-term fix for the level bug, remember that a new update is available since this Wednesday, May 19 and fixes other known Black Ops Cold War and Warzone issues.
