Like any other survival game, Subnautica Below Zero is full of supplies and crafting items you'll need to hunt down and scavenge to progress through the game. a certain way. One of these crafting items is Below Zero Table Coral, which you harvest to get a Table Coral Sample.

How to find table coral
Unlike Subnautica Table Coral, which can be found in eight different biomes on the map, Subnautica Below Zero Table Coral can be found in only two biomes: Twisty Bridges and Lilypad Islands.
The first place you'll find table coral is at Twisty Bridges. This biome is 200 meters south of your deposit. If you don't have a compass yet, which requires copper wire and a wiring kit to craft, you can get out of your lifepod, turn right, and go straight for 200 yards.
Twisty Bridges is designated by long, thin rock formations that form bridges between larger outcrops. They almost look like tentacles. You'll see some of these in the Sparse Arctic biome, your starting area, but you won't officially be at Twisty Bridges until the depth starts to drop and you see plenty of these structures criss-crossing the area.
Table coral is hard to find in this area, but look along cliff faces and inside caves. Table coral is red or yellow and protrudes in the shape of a half moon.
You can also find table coral in the Lilypad Islands, which are almost directly southeast of the deposit, through the Purple Vents and Tree Spires biomes. Although you can access this area early in the game if you wish by following a certain signal, it is not advised. There are plenty of aggressive Cryptosuchus along the way, as well as a few Leviathans that you may have to deal with.
However, the main reason is that there simply aren't many table corals in the Lilypad Islands. Growing Twisty Bridges table coral is much more efficient.
It's also possible that Sea Monkeys will occasionally carry pieces of table coral, so keep an eye out. However, it's incredibly rare that they do, and after over 13 hours of play, I've only seen it twice.
How to Harvest Table Coral
Harvesting table coral is very easy. All you have to do is walk up to it and hit it with your survival knife. You can craft a Survival Knife with 1x Silicon Rubber and 1x Titanium. A creepvine cluster makes two silicone rubber. Titanium is found by breaking limestone outcroppings or scanning fragments of vehicles and items for which you already have the full crafting recipes.
Although not completely necessary, it may be useful to bring a mineral detector to help you find the coral samples. The Mineral Detector is great for locating a number of sub-zero Subnautica crafting supplies; you can cycle through 10 options after building it, and it identifies locations with a green dot on the detector screen.
You can build a mineral detector with 1x battery; 1x titanium, 1x copper wire; 1x silicone rubber. The only drawback of the scanner is that you have to be about 10 meters from the object before it can be detected.
What is Table Coral used to craft?
You will need Table Coral to craft a unique item: the Computer Chip. However, the computer chip is used in a wide variety of items, including mobile vehicle bay and habitat builder to modification station and vehicle upgrade console. It is also a primary component for some vehicles, such as the Sea Truck and Prawn Suit.
This means you'll want to research Table Coral relatively early in Subnautica Below Zero. You can usually take a few table coral samples without a vehicle; use the seaglide to quickly rise to the surface. But once you have enough vehicle fragments to build the Sea Truck, you can farm table coral to your liking.
