The performance mode of Fortnite allows players with an old computer to play the game. This novelty has delighted many players of the license!
However, this mode is not only available on PC. Indeed, if you are a PS4 player, no need to search the settings to find it, it does not exist on this platform.

Unveiled in patch 15.10, this mode which makes the game less heavy for players' computers is a exclusivity reserved for the PC version Game.
It aims to allow a smoother experience for players who do not have a state-of-the-art device. As clarified by Epic Games, this mode is therefore not available for consoles. Patches are regularly deployed by Epic Games to improve Fortnite. However, it is not yet indicated by the developer if this mode will see the light of day on console. For the moment, you will have to take your troubles patiently if you do not play on PC.
With this update, we have also integrated the "Geometry" option which allows you to improve the quality of the textures in Performance Mode (available in alpha on PC only).
