With the latest Ghost of Tshumima update comes a plethora of stuff. The main one is a four-player co-op adventure called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, where you can choose one of four different classes and battle waves of enemies collecting rewards and loot! Don't worry, for those interested in the single-player mode, you're not left out! Sucker Punch included a New Game+ mode in-game, for people who have completed the main story. But what is New Game + in Ghosts of Tsushima and how to unlock it?
How to unlock New Game+?
As soon as you download the latest update and complete the story, there will be a new option called New Game+ in the main menu. If you missed this option, and you continue your game, as soon as you load, the game will tell you that New Game + is available!
What is New Game Plus?
New Game+ is where you start a new game, but carry everything you've unlocked. This means that all of your character buffs, posture buffs, every buff you have acquired can be used instantly from the start of the new game or after a certain point. If you upgraded your character to the max, with all cosmetics found, swords upgraded to the limit, then they will all carry over to the new game! Anything that was missed in your last playthrough, like charms or artifacts, you will be able to find during this one.
However, New Game Plus also increases the difficulty, which means that enemies are increasingly difficult to kill, so starting with your upgrades might not be an advantage. It's pretty much a hard mode, even if your difficulty is set to normal!
