White Dye Merchant Location

The White Dye Merchant is located in Wanderer's Pass, northwest of Kashine Forest and east of Kashine Hills. This area is in the northwest sector of Izuhara. Use the image above to pinpoint its location.

When you get to Wanderer's Pass you will need to climb to the top of a large hill and look for a wooden structure where you will find the merchant. He's near a bamboo hit point, next to a fire.

The good thing is that once you locate it, you can quickly go to the merchant. Also, keep in mind that there is another dye merchant that sells items dyed black, but we'll talk about that in a separate guide.

Purpose of the White Dye Merchant

So now you have found the white dye merchant. Go to him (first take the flowers right next to him) and talk to him by pressing "R2". Here, you'll see a list of items he offers, from bows to different types of armor.

When making your selection, consider the cost of the item, as these merchants do not use regular silver. For example, Ronin outfit armor costs 10 flowers. Hold "X" to craft and buy the armor.

Always collect flowers when heading between quests or while exploring the world of Ghost of Tsushima. You don't even have to get off your horse to grab them - just press "R2" to collect flowers.

Flowers are found all over the world, but if you need to get a lot of them quickly, head to Shinto shrines. Here you will find plenty of flowers, as long as you are willing to climb to the top.

There are various merchants who also have the ability to dye your equipment with other colors. So if white isn't your style, look for locations that feature vendors that sell toiletries.
