To get a Minor Possession Rune in New World, you will need to complete the first faction quest for one of the three joinable factions in the game. After this point, you can purchase a Minor Possession Rune in the New World from the shop faction rewards.
However, before you can purchase the rune, you will need to earn faction tokens. Players can earn faction tokens by completing faction PVP or PVE quests.

You can get these faction quests by traveling to the nearest settlement and talking to the faction leader of your choice in that town. If you don't know where to find these leaders, you can find the three faction leaders via their icons on the map, as shown below.
Talking to these leaders will open a menu tab, and from this tab you can either accept quests or buy items by clicking buy reward as shown below.
As part of the purchase rewards option, you will be able to purchase the Minor Rune of Holding for the price of 1 Tokens. Remember that if you don't have many, you will need to complete a few quests. We recommend completing PVE quests as they are a bit easier to do than PVP.
Once the quests are complete, return to town, turn in the quests, and you should be able to purchase the rune from the purchase rewards menu. Once you get the rune, the holding rune will, so containers hold more in the game.
