If you ever find yourself wandering around the Defender's Heart basement, you may find one of the game's many companions locked in a cell.
The companion's name is Wolf, and talking to him will start a quest called the Stolen Moon, where you'll need to identify a tiefling traitor. The traitor is a tiefling that fits an accurate description.
To identify the traitor, you'll need to head to the hideout and then talk to Irabeth in Defender's Heart. She'll give you the location of the shop, which you'll learn the Tieflings tried to rob.
She'll also tell you about her informant who betrayed the Tieflings, who had big horns - remember this, it's important.
That said, head to the shop as shown above and locate a golem's head as shown below. If you spoke to Irabeth, you would learn that you would need to say a specific password for the golem to speak to you. The password is Main Main d'Iori.

After telling the golem the password, ask the golem all the questions about the tieflings that came to rob the place, and you'll end up with a few suspects.
You will learn that there were both red-haired, long-horned Tieflings that came to the store and a female, black-haired, long-horned Tiefling.
Once you learn this, you will then need to ask where the golem master is. The master is in the basement of the shop, but the golem is at the basement door.
You will need to move the golem, but to move them you will need to pass an athletics test. To pass the check, you'll need someone at least eight years old with decent athleticism.
If you pass, you'll move the golem's head, and it'll clear the way to the basement, head inside, and find the shop owner. You can find the store owner inside the basement as shown below, talk to him and ask him everything he knows.
You may need to take a speech test to get him to talk. Depending on your skills, choose the one that suits you. Eventually he'll agree to talk, and if you ask him about tieflings, you'll learn that the tiefling that had black hair was a noble, so they couldn't be a traitor.
You also learn that a suspicious Tiefling who had a green cape and red hair came over asking to watch something he couldn't afford. This person is the traitor, and there is only one Tiefling that matches the description of the hideout, the Tiefling Melroun.
Go back to the hideout and talk to Sister Kerismel and tell her the traitor is Melroun, and he will try to take a break, and shortly after that you will complete the stolen moon quest and find the traitor Tiefling.
