Bangalore was the most recent star of the Stories from the Outlands saga, in the short film Gridiron. Along with this short came a brand new Legendary Bangalore skin, but also an unfortunate glitch. When players purchased the skin, if they tried to use it, the game crashed on the character selection screen due to an animation glitch. While the glitch was eventually fixed, everyone who was affected by it as the true owner of the Mil-Spec skin is getting a gift to make up for it.

A Bangalore Pack (also known as Bangalore Theme Pack) is available to all concerned starting January 20. This means that if you purchased the Mil-Spec Legendary Bangalore skin between the dates of January 4 and January 13, you will be able to claim a free Bangalore pack just by logging in.
This freebie is only for players who purchased the skin between these two dates, not those who purchased it during its extended stay in the store after the fact. A Bangalore Pack is a rare tier Apex Pack that guarantees a Bangalore cosmetic that you don't already have inside.
