How to Get Shiny (Shiny) Ooblets

The mix of Stardew Valley Ooblets and Pokemon is a nice set of games that many people enjoy. On the Pokemon side, it looks like Ooblets have created shiny versions of the animals you'll collect! These are known as Gleamy in this game, and I'm sure they'll be sought after just like the shiny Pokemon we love. So we'll go over some details about that in our guide on how to get Gleamy Ooblets!

So what's the difference between a normal Ooblet and a Gleamy? Well, the color palette has completely changed! They are very different from a standard model, which makes them stand out. They also appear to sparkle when running next to you! Who wouldn't want a trail of sparks following them as they run around town or tend to their farm?

How to Get a Gleamy Oblet

Much like Shiny Pokémon, these will be quite rare to find. When you walk around the city, you will see small groups of Ooblets. Learn to identify each of the species by their coloring. The way to find Gleamy Ooblets is to find one in these groups that is a different color combination! So every day you'll want to run around your town and check all the groups to see if any one in particular is different from the others. If there's one in a different color, that means it's a Gleamy Ooblet!

If you see one Gleamy, then you'll need to have the items available on you to challenge them to a dance. Each Ooblet has its own specific items needed to get you into battle. Once you participate and hopefully defeat the Gleamy Ooblet, you will receive a seed. Return to your farm and plant this seed to get the Shiny Little Ooblet. The seed must be a guaranteed Gleamy, so don't worry about missing out as long as you get this seed.

Hopefully in the future we'll find things like an existing Pokemon Shiny Charm in Ooblet. The actual rarity of these is currently unknown, but it would be nice to have a way to increase the odds in our favor.
