To survive the subzero temperatures of Subnautica: Subzero players must acquire the Coldsuit, a special thermally regulated suit consisting of three pieces: jumpsuit, gloves, and helmet. Each component of the cold suit can be made with Snow Stalker fur and Mesh fiber.

How to Get Snowstalker Fur in Subnautica: Below Zero
If you're lucky, you can find Snowstalker fur in caves in the Ice Pool, but most of the time you'll have to take it by force from Snow Stalkers. Snow Stalkers are carnivores found on one of the following biomes:
- arctic arrows
- glacial basin
Before venturing into any of these territories, you must create a Spy Pengling using the following recipe:
- 2x Titanium
- 1x wiring kit
- 1x silicone rubber
- 1x battery
The blueprint for Spy Pengling can be obtained by scanning fragments at the base of Marguerit Maida, which is inside a cave under the Purple Vents biome. It can also be found at the Phi Robotics Center, located in the largest cave in the Glacial Basin.
Once you have your Spy Pengling ready, you need to deploy it somewhere near the roving Snow Stalker. Use the controls to get to it as close as possible and press the left mouse button to collect the fur. You can repeat this process several times.
