Since the release of patch 16.10 this Tuesday, March 30, a new animal is tamable and it is the raptor (or dinosaur).
If you're looking to tame one, you will need to catch 2 to 3 fish then look for one on the map. These predators can be found all over the place on the map, but the most interesting places and which assure you to find some are available on the map below.

They will usually be in groups and you will need to isolate one to be able to tame it. Once you have isolated one of these animals, throw the fish you caught beforehand, then get closer by pressing E (by default on PC) in order to have the possibility of taming it. Once you have tamed it, it will now follow your commands and attack the targets you tell it to.
