dragonflight, the latest extension of World of Warcraft, brings its very first raid from December 14, 2022: The vault of incarnations. This eight-boss raid gets the ball rolling and will have you facing Raszageth, the storm eater.

Normal and Heroic Eranog Strategy in WoW Dragonflight
Eranog is a two-phase clash, the first taking place untilEranog arrives at 100 energy and the second while it is at 100 energy. It's not a particularly complex fight but it still requires a minimum of coordination.
Phase 1 of the fight against Eranog in WoW Dragonflight
In its first phase, you will find Eranog in the center of his room. Engage the boss normally.
The tanks must pay attention to two skills:
- Molten Strike is a cone made on its primary target. Tank the boss back to the raid.
- burning wounds is a debuff applied to the active tank. You must switch tanks for every two stacks of this debuff.
Even if you're not a tank, pay attention to the Molten Strike. It can be difficult for tanks to correctly place the boss during phase 1.
At regular intervals, Eranog uses Flaming Rift. This spell applies a red circle around certain players. After a few seconds, these circles explode and summon Tarasèkes flamécaille. All targeted players get closer to each other away from the boss (without entering the AoEs of others) and as soon as the adds appear, they deviate from it. The Flamescale Tarasekes are going to focus on a target and him run after. Quickly kill these adds and avoid getting caught.
Once the Flaming Riftss have exploded, they leave a zone of lava. Don't stay in it.
Sometimes, Eranog scream with Incinerating Howl. Hold the damage the raid will take for the rest of the fight. The harder the fight, the higher the damage taken.
In two new skills are used:
- Avoid brown areas on the floor. These will show Molten Spikes, dealing damage to players standing on it.
- Incinerating Howl to a new effect. In addition to dealing damage to the raid, it does explode spikes, which causes multiple red areas to appear on the ground. Avoid them.
Phase 2 of the fight against Eranog in WoW Dragonflight
When Eranog reaches 100 energy, the boss goes into phase 2. He runs to the center of the room and summons a circle of fire elementals that advance from the outside in. They are bound together by a rope of red flames. If you touch this rope, cross it, you will die.
The objective is to kill one of the elementals quickly to create a gap in the rope, which will then allow your raid to cross.
Be careful with damages the raid will experience during this phase. The healers should pay particular attention to it.
