Phasmophobia Question Guide Ouija Board

The ouija board in Phasmophobia received an overhaul in update 0.5.0.1, adding new ouija board questions and functions, as well as a brand new look.

In this Phasmophobia guide, we'll go over the ouija board questions you can ask a ghost, either to further your investigation or to add an extra twist.

Phasmophobia: how to use the Ouija board

Pick up the ouija board in a safe place, preferably near the front door in case a hunt begins, and click on the ouija board to light it.

Asking a ghost questions with the ouija board isn't free, at least in terms of sanity. You'll take a hit to your sanity with every question you successfully ask on the ouija board, although not all questions impact you equally.

  • Asking for the ghost's location will drain your sanity by 40%, but slightly less with demons.
  • Asking a question about the location of the bone or the number of people in the room with the ghost will deplete your sanity by 20%.
  • The other questions will drain your sanity by 5%.

Also, a new feature in this Phasmophobia patch is that the ouija board will shatter and immediately start a curse hunt if you don't say goodbye to the board.

A cursed hunt is longer than a normal hunt and (essentially) starts on the player. This will extend all other hunts for the remainder of an investigation. Always say goodbye to the ouija board when you're done with it, unless you're intentionally trying to throw cursed hunts.
