The PS5's SSD looks unorthodox Go 825 de storage space. That's an unusual number, as the PS4 was mostly available in 500GB and 1TB configurations. PS5 SSD: How many games can you store on it?
The exact number of games you'll be able to store on the PS5 SSD will depend on the size of the software you want to install. Some games require less than 1 GB to install, while others can go up to 100 GB. Realistically, if your average library file size is around 40 GB, you should be able to comfortably store about 20 matches, but your mileage will vary.
It should be noted that the custom nature of the PS5's SSD could reduce overall file sizes, as developers will no longer need to duplicate data to reduce read speed. However, next-gen games are likely to have higher resolution assets, which could ultimately increase overall file sizes. We will have to wait and see.
