How to fix the "You must be anonymous" bug in Wrath of the Gods on Assassin's Creed Valhalla?
This bug is known by Ubisoft, but there is no patch yet that allows it to be fixed definitively. If you come to meet it, you can settle it in different ways, of which here are the details.
Put on your cape
Remember to put on your cape directly to switch to anonymous when you pass through restricted areas. If you haven't put on your cape, you won't be anonymous to enemies.
Make sure you haven't been spotted
The second thing to do when you get this message is to check that you haven't been spotted by an enemy. Usually you will have a red arrow telling you that an enemy has seen you and where they are. If so, eliminate it..
Go into meditation
According to members of Ubisoft Support (source), one of the solutions is to go into meditation. So remember to follow this advice and if the problem persists, try the solution below or contact support.
Reload the game
Another solution that is probably the most effective is to save your game then quit the game. Then restart your game and the bug should be fixed.
Uninstall the game
The last resort solution is to uninstall the game and reinstall it. if none of the previous solutions worked, but we strongly advise against it and instead invite you to contact Ubisoft support.
