The object of Among Us is to complete all tasks and escape safely, or if you are an impostor, to sabotage and murder everyone. Your to-do list is displayed in the top left corner and often involves completing a number of mini-games. Be careful, though, every time you spend completing these missions is time spent not watching you.
Whenever a body is discovered, the entire lobby has a few minutes to discuss what they saw and shift blame. You will have to lie convincingly if you want to avoid detection. Among Us is one of those games where big liars and the naturally devious often predominate.

Among Us is a tricky game where you are put in a room with strangers and have to work together. Running like a lone wolf won't go unnoticed either, so how do you master Among Us?
- Read the room: Most of the time, if someone calls to vote and blames an individual, they're an impostor. But, in cases where they are not, remember who laid the charge. Villains like to uncover their own crimes so they can blame someone else
- You don't have to vote: skipping a vote isn't a bad idea. It's much better that no one gets ejected than an innocent player. Don't forget that the impostor wants to kill everyone - your bad vote helps them achieve this
- Keep Busy: You can't win the game if you wander around aimlessly. You must either complete your missions or disrupt and assassinate the crew
- Don't be a sheep: following the herd normally leads to disaster. The best way to play in any situation is to note who is quiet and who shouts the loudest. One of these two is often always the culprit
