How to respawn in the Muck game

Since the release of Muck, a new free survival game on Steam, players have been wondering how Muck's respawn system works. It turns out that after death you don't respawn, just lose all your progress and start a new game from scratch.

This guide will provide you with tips on how to respawn in Muck, as well as how to revive your other teammates. Spoiler: you'll need a mod to respawn in single player, but we'll tell you how to get it.

Multiplayer respawn

On launch, there was no option to respawn. But now players have the ability to revive teammates using special revive totems in multiplayer only.

These totems appear when one of the players dies on a multiplayer server. When other players interact with the totem, the dead player respawns.

This option is currently available for free during the day. But if you want to revive your teammates at night, you will have to pay some coins.

Solo Respawn

Currently, the solo respawn mechanic has not been implemented in Muck. But there is a custom modification that allows players to set respawn points in singleplayer. This mod can be installed after joining the Muck Discord group.

Once you have joined the group and downloaded the mod, follow these steps:

  • Access your Steam Library
  • Right click on Muck and select "Properties"
  • Go to “Local Files” and select “Browse”
  • Copy the mod folder to the “steamappscommonMuckMuck_Data”
  • Confirm to overwrite existing files
  • Now you can start the game, and when you die your character will automatically respawn in the same location within five seconds.

That's all you need to know about how to respawn in Muck, both in multiplayer and single player. If this article was helpful to you, consider sharing it!
