There are a few statistical requirements that must be met in order to perform contact dunks with a MyPlayer in NBA 2K22. Players should keep these minimum requirements in mind when first creating their player. Some contact dunks require certain heights, a driving dunk rating, and a vertical rating. Here are all the contact dunk packages and the requirements to equip them.

  • Dunks Pro Contact — 84+ Driving Dunk et 70+ Vertical
  • Elite Contact Dunks — 92+ Driving Dunk et 80+ Vertical
  • Pro Contact Alley-Oops — 84+ Driving Dunk et 70+ Vertical
  • Elite Contact Alley-Oops — 92+ Driving Dunk et 80+ Vertical

Contact Dunk Packages with height requirements

  • Small Contact Dunks and Alley-Oops (must be less than 6″ 5″) – 86+ Driving Dunk and 85+ Vertical
  • Professional Standing Contact Dunks (must be at least 6’10”) – 80+ Standing Dunk and 65+ Vertical
  • Elite Standing Contact Dunks (must be at least 6’10”) – 90+ Standing Dunk and 75+ Vertical
  • Big Man Contact Dunks and Alley-Oops (Must be at least 6'10”) – 85+ Standing Dunk, 75+ Driving Dunk and 60+ Vertical

One way to ensure more contact dunks is to equip the Posterizer Badge, Limitless Takeover Badge, or Fast Twitch Badge for big men. It might be easier to land contact dunks in the current version of NBA 2K22, but the next-gen version features a dunk counter for contact dunks with special animations and celebrations.



The contact dunk in NBA 2K22 requires good timing and skill, even with the minimum stat requirements, so players must practice to perfect the dunk over the heads of their opponents.
