Timed gathering nodes are more common than new miners and botanists might expect, with many of Final Fantasy XIV's most valuable raw materials only being available on a node at set times of the day.
The purpose of this guide is simply to present all the timed mining nodes to go through and consider, if you don't want to use a timer website. However, it is not about collecting collectibles. We cover that in our FFXIV mining collectibles guide.
All times are based on Eorzean Time (ET). You can view Eorzean time simultaneously with real time in-game in the UI by going to the Character Setup menu, choosing UI Settings, then HUD.
Once checked, your local time and Eorze time will be displayed on your HUD.
Set the alarms!
You'll want to familiarize yourself with the game's alarm feature to take advantage of these mining nodes, which you can access by entering /alarm in the text box and pressing enter in-game.
FFXIV A Realm Reborn Mining Mining Nodes chronométrés
The first timed nodes are level 50, but you should be able to attempt to collect them at level 46.
These nodes spawn once per day and are active for three hours.

FFXIV Heavensward Mining Mining Nodes
Regular timed mining nodes for Heavensward content (level 60) spawn twice a day, and they last two hours each time.
Some of these nodes require you to use Tomes to unlock them, especially the Tomes of Geological Folklore for their region.
These can be purchased from Rowena's representatives near the Aetherytes in Foundation or Kugane for 125 Yellow Gatherer Scripts, or from the Splendors Vendor in Idyllshire for five Blue Gatherers' Script Tokens.

Stormblood timed mining nodes appear twice a day and for two hours at a time.
