Wildlife is a big part of the Storm Point Apex Legends map. While the Flyers hurt the skies and aren't confined to one location, the other creatures can be found in the wildlife nests scattered across the tropical map. Tracking down these nests is fairly simple once you get used to them, but it's important to know how they work. Let's go over the different varieties of wildlife nests and how to find them.
Lurkers' Lairs
Lurker dens are made of a jagged, pointed structure with rangers inside. If you get too close, a patrolling ranger will warn you not to go any further. If you do, or if you hit the Ranger, the Rangers inside will come out and attack as well.

Spider nests are made up of several egg clusters, each of which houses a swarm of spiders. To engage in combat, you must damage the eggs. This will hatch them and you can fight off the swarm. Beware, they have ranged attacks.

Find wildlife nests via the minimap
Unlike Flyers, which will randomly spawn in a few locations based on a pre-determined set, Fauna Nests will always be in the same location each match. You can find these locations by looking at your minimap, where wildlife nests will be marked in red.
Each nest is marked with a symbol that is either a Lurker or a Spider, telling the player whether it will be a Lurker's Lair or a Spider's Nest at that given location. Although the locations themselves are limited, the amount of wildlife they contain can vary, so don't be surprised if you return to a nest in a different match and there are more creatures than last time.
If all wildlife in a location is wiped out, the red map marker will disappear for the rest of that match. This means that even though the locations never change when spawning, there will be times when you will see fewer markers on the minimap.
