Investigate a weirder, smarter threat in Hello Neighbor 2

One of the Xbox Showcase pre-show world premieres was a sequel to the cult classic Hello Neighbor, unsurprisingly titled Hello Neighbor 2.

As you'd expect, there's a lot of clever stealth involved in Hello Neighbor 2. You play as a reporter named Quentin, investigating strange disappearances at Raven Brooks. The house your investigation takes you to is none other than the original Hello Neighbor's house. Only this time it's occupied by a strange creature in a raven costume (it's not. The trailer shows it's the original neighbor, but it's still fun).

As before, you'll use whatever you can in the environment to distract and outsmart your enemy. There seems to be the same sense of immediacy and dread when you find ways to keep the neighbor from realizing you're there - and then the desperate rush to find a way to escape once you are discovered.

But developer tinyBuild said Hello Neighbor 2 uses intelligent AI, in which enemies learn your patterns and hunt you down accordingly. So you'll need to keep this in mind when exploring the area around Ravens Brook, as your investigation includes several locations outside of the house.

If you can't wait to get your hands on it, you can try the Hello Neighbor 2 alpha available now.

Hello Neighbor 2 is slated for a 2021 release date on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC, and it also supports Smart Delivery. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Hello Neighbor 2 news as it develops.
