Is there a companion app for Dying Light 2?

Once upon a time, apps associated with games were all the rage. Some games still offer companion apps that players can download for iOS or Android and Dying Light is one of them. This may leave some players wondering if Dying Light 2 Stay Human will have a companion app.

Currently, there is no confirmation that Dying Light 2 Stay Human will have a companion app. The closest thing at the moment is Techland.gg. Players can register on the site and complete quests to earn in-game items. These include weapon skins, clothing for Aidan, and more.

The companion to the original Dying Light allowed players to collect materials during AFK. This doesn't seem to be the case with Techland.gg, but the site mentions that more rewards will be available soon. It is also possible that a companion application will become available later.

Companion apps are a great way to extend the player's experience with a game without making it mandatory. Techland revealed more information about Dying Light 2 closer to launch, so they might talk about that later.
