It just wouldn't be Friends of Mineral Town without the Harvest Goddess, and luckily Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town brings the goddess back with plenty of divine glory.
As before, the Harvest Goddess is a marriage candidate if you're willing to put in the work. But making friends with the Goddess offers a wide range of benefits on its own, including the ability to purchase pets.
Our SoS: Friends of Mineral Town Harvest Goddess guide details every aspect of the Harvest Goddess, what items she likes, and how you can marry her.
Mineral Town Harvest Friends Goddess Guide
You'll find the Harvest Goddess in the waterfall pool just outside the main mine near the hot springs. If this is your first time in Mineral Town, exit south from your farm and head west to the crossroads near the Carpenter's Hut (Bots house).
You can throw an item into the Harvest Goddess Pond once per day. As with all of the freebies in Friends of Mineral Town, you'll want to focus on what the Harvest Goddess likes or likes, because nothing else will really do you much good in the friendship department.
Harvest Goddess Beloved Items and Harvest Goddess Beloved Items
The Harvest Goddess only has two beloved items, strawberries and pineapple, which you won't have access to in either year one. So you'll want to focus on the Harvest Goddess' favorite items, which are thankfully much more plentiful and common.

Friends of Mineral Town Harvest Goddess Marriage Terms
You've come a long way if you want to marry the Harvest Goddess. There's a to-do list that basically got you digging into everything Friends of Mineral Town has to offer. And it's a five-year journey because she won't marry you until fifth year.
Completion Requirements
Shipping Items
This gives you enough time to do the next requirement: complete the delivery list. You'll find the shipping list on your shelf at home, and it's basically a list of everything you can ship in the game. You'll need to ship at least one of the items on the list to get attention of the Harvest Goddess.
Fishing
You'll also need to catch a fish on each, which will take at least a year, maybe longer. There's a fishing log on your shelf if you need to keep track, too.
The fishing rod is a gift from Zack when you visit his beach house, and you can fish in different areas:
- Downstream
- Lake
- Hot spring
- winter mine
- Ocean
- Upstream
- Goddess Pond
The type of fish you will encounter in each area changes depending on the season. It's not as simple as catching them all, as you need to catch all six Guardian Fish, which we cover in more detail in our fishing guide.
You can't catch Guardian Fish without a level six or higher fishing rod, and you can't forge them at Saibara.
The level six fishing rod is the cursed rod, and you'll find it on the 29th floor of the lake mine. This is the one you can only access in winter when the lake freezes over. Save before entering, however, as cursed tools are not guaranteed to spawn.
Note that you cannot unequip cursed tools until they have been blessed. The Cursed Rod turns into a Blessed Rod when you've used it 50 times, either while fishing or just by pressing the button.
As of this writing, the Japanese version 1.1.2 requires you to fully upgrade every tool before the cursed tools appear. So far the western version is at 1.0.1 with nothing mentioned in the patch notes about it.
Loot the mines
In addition to catching all the fish, you'll need to get all the special items from the mines: Goddess Orbs, Kappa Orbs, and the Teleport Stone.
The Goddess Orbs are in the Spring Mine on the following floors:
- 60
- 102
- 123
- 152
- 155
- 171
- 190
- 202
- 222
Each Goddess Orb is in a random stone, but they are not guaranteed. As with cursed tools, save before dropping down to a floor with a gem so you can reload and try again if they're not there. Once you have all nine, you will form the Goddess Gem.
The same goes for Kappa Orbs. These are in the winter mine in the lake:
- 0
- 40
- 60
- 80
- 120
- 140
- 160
- 180
- 255
The nine form the Kappa Gem, which can restore fatigue.
Floor 255 of the Lake Mine is also where you will find the Teleport Stone. It's also hidden in one of the rocks, but you'll need to be at least 3rd year for it to appear.
Propose to the Goddess of the Harvest
As mentioned, be sure to choose the Harvest Goddess as your romantic partner during the 20 item event. You'll also want to buy a large bed, as with other marriage candidates, and the Harvest Goddess' heart meter should be red.
The problem is, you can't really see it. Suffice it to say, if you give Harvest Goddess gifts daily, you can be sure she'll be at Red Heart level by year five.
With all of these requirements under your belt, go to church on Monday, Wednesday, or any rainy or snowy day. Head to the confessional in the back and speak with Carter. Choose to confess and admit your desire to marry the harvest goddess.
Some say the option only appears randomly, so you may have to try for several days.
Finally, just buy a blue feather from the store and throw it into the Goddess Pond. If you've done everything on the list, she'll accept your proposal.
