The Haunted Mirror is a fairly straightforward cursed possession in Phasmophobia. It allows players to examine it to identify which room the ghost is in.

The mirror has a set number of spawns for each card that coincides with where other cursed possessions will spawn. The mirror is often knocked over or on the floor, making it easy to mistake for a fallen picture frame.

How it works
When collecting the mirror, players can use it as an item with the use key and examine it. When in hand, the mirror glows and begins to show the wielder a glimpse of the ghost room. It does not work away from home and will cease to shine if players leave the contract residence. Due to the similarity of the pieces in Phasmophobia, it can be difficult to tell the pieces apart, but it will narrow things down effectively.
While a player is holding the mirror, it will quickly drain the user of their sanity. If the player reaches zero sanity, the mirror will shatter and cause a cursed hunt. The mirror is visibly broken in front of the user looking at it and other players will be able to hear the sound of glass breaking.
